The Main Lodge

Rising from a smooth granite face the magnificent main lodge presides over a perfect natural harbour with views to the Bay beyond. A broad front porch, supported by huge peeled timbers, extends the entire length of the building creating a gracious and welcoming entryway while providing shelter from sun and rain. The main lodge great room, comprised of open kitchen overlooking the sunken dining and living area is anchored by a massive ‘Dry-Stack’ granite fireplace.Vaulted ceiling, clerestory windows and French doors on two sides of the great room allow light into the interior throughout the day. Superb craftsmanship and a sophisticated design aestheticare evident in every detail, from the dovetail joinery, restored barnboard floors and custom made square headed nails to the selection of the finest materials and finishes and thoughtful architectural details throughout. Many of the furnishings are antiques or were custom made for the lodge.

The state of the art kitchen combines top of the line appliances( Sub Zero, Heartland Oven) with elegant, old world, antique cabinetry.

The beautifully appointed, sun filled master suite enjoys a private deck and breathtaking views to the water. The master ensuite boasts a granite faced steam shower.

Guest Cottages

The two guest cabins are discreetly located to ensure privacy. Both have 3 pc w/c, extensive porches, decking and lovely water views.

Games and Party Pavilion

Sited at a distance from the main lodge, the pavilion overlooks a quiet inlet. French doors the entire length of the south wall give out onto a stone patio looking over the water. Waterfront Recreational Area: Sited at water’s edge the log boat house and sauna are linked by 100’ of spacious tiered wooden decks providing areas for sunbathing, lounging and al fresco meals. Extending from the waterfront deck, 12’ cedar covered steel docks and slips accommodate 10-12 boats and a dive tower. The boat house is equipped with a sonar system to prevent birds and bats from taking up residence. Natural flat granite pathways interconnect the main lodge with the guest cottages, the stunning games & party pavilion and lead to a private sand beach at the back of the island.
